Ben Young Apartments

SCJ is teaming up with ARC Architects and Everett Housing Authority for the design of a new senior apartment building with 140 units, as well as a host of amenities including small on-site park and a scenic rooftop deck with a P-Patch. The design nestles into the hillside and steps down in massing as it transitions to the smaller homes to the west. The building steps back from the busy commercial road, providing increased depth for landscaping and large trees for shade and greenery. The park is formed out of a "slot" in the property, hence the name, Dado Park. It features seating and gathering areas, and generous landscaping and lighting.
