Mountain Town Retreat
The landscape design for this new home located in Crested Butte is all about borrowed views. Gathering spaces and built-in seating are located intentionally to capture the majestic view of Mt. Crested Butte. Material selections such as native perennials, trees and shrubs, natural stone paving and granite boulders were all inspired by the surrounding views. Located on a busy corner, the inviting entry is balanced with privacy created with a combination of grading, planting and fencing.
