On Lake Washington near the Seattle Tennis Club, an existing home was extensively remodeled by Stuart Silk Architects. SCJ Studio worked with the owner and design team to create an oasis from the busy street behind freestanding concrete walls and a custom gate matching interior materials. Upon entry into the courtyard, lush planting and a gentle water feature greet you. Approaching the front door, you cross the water via a glass bridge that lights up at night.
