Kirkland Garden Refresh
On a beautiful corner lot in Kirkland overlooking Lake Washington, a once magnificent garden had become tired and needed a refresh. A design touch from SCJ Studio was the perfect cure. SCJ's landscape architects created an updated planting plan, ensuring the preservation of existing plants of sentimental value and mature specimens providing vertical interest. The garden's jewel-toned aesthetic was maintained and enhanced with new plantings rich in color. To increase the functionality of the backyard and the enjoyment of the lake view in the front, two cozy flagstone patios were designed. Decorative steel panels added a touch of drama, especially when lit up in the evening.
